The R&A and USGA, golf’s governing rules bodies, have made drastic changes to the laws involving a ball moving on the green. Dustin Johnson’s US Open victory was marred by a rules blunder, in which his ball moved after he addressed it at the seventh green. That will no longer be a problem.
