A group of Stellenbosch Golf Club pros, including Sunshine Tour players JJ Senekal and Justin Harding, broke the world record for the fastest playing of a par five.
Pierre de Villiers and golf director Louis Destroo joined the two tour players on the fifth hole to see if they could set a new mark, and that’s exactly what they did, stopping the clock at 34.1 seconds when Destroo tapped in for birdie.
